The regular slam championship has been held since February 2010 and has hundreds of followers and poets, who meet each month to compete, share and applaud the performances of the slammers. Over these fifteen years, the event has established itself as an essential meeting point for the slam community in Barcelona, generating a space for creation, dialogue and scenic experimentation. Its stable schedule has reinforced the vitality of the slam movement and has contributed to renewing interest in oral poetry in the city.
